Thursday, Sep. 15 rolling again : )

The RV is fixed!!  We had fantastic help from the wagon master and the CG manager and got back on the road again about 11 this morning. The mechanics worked at least until 10 p.m. and probably later.   Again we had a good Turkish road -- a new 6-lane divided tollroad through the Taurus Mtns. to the Mediterranean coast with 8 tunnels (all 3 lanes each direction).  Colorado (I-70) should have it so good!  The tunnels avoided many switchbacks, and the impressive road cuts lessened the grades.

We are now camped on the south (Mediterranean) coast of Turkey.  Unfortunately we are here just one night, but I already had a quick swim this evening--warm water, rocky bottom.  Ahhhh.  Maybe time for a quick one tomorrow morning.  We have a medium-length drive tomorrow along more of the coast.    Lots of old ruins, castles, aquaducts, and historic things coming up
